Hello!
I've been very busy the past months that I failed to update my journal in a timely manner.
During the tough times of work and struggle, I've realized a couple of things.
Honestly, I've always thought that being an artist or creating illustrations doesn't require talent. It only
needs hard work. Everything can be developed in time, and those who succeed are people who chose to devote most
of their time drawing. Those who fail at drawing are those who chose to devote most of their time at something
else [and obviously get better in that "something else"]. That there is no talent, just hard work.
Recently I realized that talent does exist. That fundamentals and techniques can be developed in time, but the
passion and enthusiasm to create is something that is unique in every one of us. The choice that we make to
further advance, and the drive to do so is what separates knowledge and practice from passion. I realized that
talent exists and it lets us define what is beautiful for our own eyes and it lets us identify what we must
seek to create something that will satisfy our taste. It's a drive that keeps us going.
Realizing these things, I began to slowly appreciate my effort and progress. I've started to take pride in the
sacrifices I made. And right now I'm trying to be more forgiving of myself for not being able to do most of my
plans. Instead of constantly thinking about the "if only's", "should have's", and "if I can only's", I've been
accepting my reality far more honest now. That there will be things I cannot do, and there are things I need to
do. And by rubbing this shit on my face, I can focus more with work that needs to be done.
Well enough life blah blah's. On the lighter side~
I'm very happy to announce that right now my schedule is starting to- I don't know, calm down[?]. Only a few
more deadlines left, then I can finally get back to some personal projects!
A few months ago, I got my copy of the client manga we've been working on for the past 3 years. It was such a
wonderful feeling to see your hardwork in print! I'll be sure to announce it here once the book becomes
available for online orders! I'm really excited!
I've also been working on a couple of cardgame illustrations for a number of clients! I'll be very happy to
post the illustrations here once the NDA has been lifted~
It's very tough to work on client projects day and night [and sometimes miss out sleep for the sake of
deadlines], but I'm very grateful. My clients are all very awesome to work with, and I can't thank them enough
for their enthusiasm toward my illustrations!
Hopefully now I can keep you guys much more updated with my projects and whatnots!
You can also visit me on my streams if you want to see some of my illustration workflow, or if you have
any questions, or if you simple want to hang out while I draw~
ohohoho fight on to the last quarter of the year! <3

Updates!
It's been a very long while since I last created a journal! How are you guys doing? For the past months I wasn't able to post new art here, although I upload new ones on my other social media. And because of that, I get asked if I've already left DA. Nope, I didn't leave DA. For the past months, the site wasn't loading properly on my pc. I later on learned that it's the fault of my ISP. They were only able to fix the issue a few weeks ago. Now that the site's working fine on my end, I'll post some backlog of artworks in the coming days. I admit that I'm no longer as active here as I was back then. Partly because Eclipse didn't really appeal to me, but mostly because majority of the people I follow here have already left. I'll still be here though! I love seeing updates from those that didn't leave, and I always check my inbox for new messages. I always respond to DMs (that make sense), I just find it weird that the notification indicator oftentimes don't indicate that I have a new
Demons Within webtoon release
For the past months I was commissioned to work on a manga project called Demons Within. It's written and owned by Sia (@/levisiatan on Twitter). I've been posting a bunch of its WIP screencaps on my Twitter and Instagram. And here is an example: Aaaand today it's finally up on webtoons! Despite being a commissioned project, I treated this as one of my own! Do check it out! It's at: tinyurl.com/rinetenDWS01E00
